It was a warm and sunny spring afternoon and the children were out in the school playground on their lunch break, three girls from grade two played together as children normally play. What do you know when you are a child at that age and how defensive do we already become or must we become?
He embodied all that is beautiful Sara thought, yes at Sara's age she thought that; Sara was bright for her age and quick to understand many things as far as life and all that was the norm were concerned.
The beautiful man beckoned Sara to come near, he wished to speak to Sara and this confused Sara, why would he want to talk to her? Sara went forward with only the briefest moment of hesitation; she had to at least tell him that he was beautiful and flawless. It is odd the way that exceptional beauty can draw a person in, even if the person who holds that beauty is a stranger to them.
The conversation between Sara and the unknown man lasted only mere minutes but it is a conversation that she will never forget. He put Sara in awe, he made Sara happy and he made Sara extremely sad all within a matter of minutes; but he left her with a promise.
The one thing that Sara will never understand is why her friends, which stood with her in the playground, did not come forward and want to speak with him. When Sara spoke of him they looked to her with very puzzled looks, 'There was no man'. Sara looked at her friends and they were serious, they had not seen or heard the man. Sara knew to cover it over as a joke or she could be ridiculed on the playground as a loon.
These thoughts to you are truly in question, how did Sara see this man and the others did not? If you feel you know how this took please respond in comment.
As a quote from a Daughtry song; "I believe this could the start of something good". If you really want to think you need to go and listen to what is being said and how much meaning went into the composition of 'Start of something good'.
